On 12 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK, presided over a
merit-making ceremony on the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and National Mother's Day on 12 August 2026 at Buddhapadipa Temple in London. Mrs. Priabthip Krishnamra, spouse of the Ambassador, the Embassy’s officials, members of Team Thailand in London and their spouses and family members as well as the Thai community in the UK also took part in the ceremony.

On this occasion, the Ambassador and spouse also led the Embassy officials, members of Team Thailand in London, and their spouses to conduct voluntary activities by preparing and serving lunch to Thais, Brits, and foreigners in the UK as well as cleaning the ordination hall and temple court at Buddhapadipa Temple as part of the dedication of merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Volunteers from the Thai community in the UK also joined the activity.
