General Information

* RTE London do not accept physical application. All applications must be completed online via www.thaievisa.go.th 

* Passport holders of all nationals with residence permits in the UK/Ireland/UK territories can apply for the e-visa through Royal Thai Embassy, London. (Please select Royal Thai Embassy, London during your visa submission procedure).

* All applicants must be residing within the UK/Ireland/UK territories when apply for the Visa. The Royal Thai Embassy has the right to cancel the visa applications should you fail to provide the evidence of your presence within the UK/Ireland/UK territories while applying for the visa.

* Travel booking confirmation must be provided upon submission of your visa application. This includes flight details showing applicant’s name, departure date, all flights en route from UK/Ireland/UK territories to Thailand and onward flight to another destination.

* Children under 16 years old must provide the following documents
  - Parent’s proof of financial evidence and hotel booking.
  - Full birth certificate showing the parents' names.
  - Your parent’s recent official UK/Ireland bank statement, showing their name, address (Do not send the screenshot).
  - Sponsorship letter from your parents.
  - Parent's passport or ID.
  - Parent’s council tax bills, utility bills.
  - The visa declaration form must be signed by parents or legal guardian.

* Upon receiving your application, it takes within 10 working days to get your visa. The processing time can take longer in certain cases.

* You are recommended to apply for a visa at least 4-8 weeks before the travel date but do not submit your application more than 3 months before your departure date.

* The visa fee is non-refundable regardless outcome.

* Visa processing fee is subject to change without prior notice.

* The Royal Thai Embassy, London reserves the right to request additional documents / interview in person at the Royal Thai Embassy, London, and amend visa categories as deemed necessary as well as reject any application without prejudice.

* The applicants must provide genuine documents and information. If the applicants are found to provide false documents or give false information, their applications will be rejected and be reported for further determination of appropriate action and future prohibition to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.

- Copy of ACRO Certificate of criminal record clearance (for UK residence) and criminal record (for Ireland residence) issued within the last 6 months. Please visit the ACRO website for details and the duration for the application https://www.acro.police.uk/s/ . Interviews may apply.

Afghanistan , Iraq , North Korea

 

- Copy of BRP card or letter from UKVI (UK visa) settlement status.
- A confirmation letter from the Employer, School, Self-assessment.
- Afghanistan, Iraq, and North Korea National (Passport, UK travel document) applications may take longer procedure up to 2-3 months. Please spare enough time for your application before your travel date. Interviews may apply.
