The Royal Thai Embassy in London organised mobile consular services during 25-26 April 2026 at Wat Buddharam Leeds. Almost 200 Thais in Leeds and nearby cities in West Yorkshire received various consular services, including issuance of passports, ID cards, birth certificate, and legalization, as well as consultation on different issues.

On this occasion, Ms. Choltipa Vinyunavan, Consul, attended the Songkran festival organised by Wat Buddharam Leeds as the embassy’s representative. The Consul also delivered opening remarks at the exhibition “Science as Diplomacy: a Thai Historical Context" co-hosted by Khon Kaen University and the University of Leeds. The research focuses on the historical development of the science diplomacy in Thailand. Approximately 500 Thais, Brits, and foreign nationals, as well as academics in the UK took part in the event.

The Royal Thai Embassy in London regularly organises mobile consular services across the UK. Another mobile consular service visit will be in Hull in May 2026.
