The Royal Embassy in London congratulates the official launching of the Southeast Asian Network Ireland

On 8 August 2026, the Thai-Ireland Association, as a member of the Southeast Asian Network Ireland (SEANI), co-organised the official launch of SEANI under the theme “One Region, Many Flavours” at The Studio, DLR LexIcon in Dublin. The event brought together approximately 100 participants, including ASEAN Ambassadors accredited to Ireland, representatives of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, and representatives from various sectors. It celebrated Southeast Asia’s cultural diversity and promoted networking among Southeast Asian communities in Ireland. The programme featured food and cultural performances from countries across Southeast Asia.
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to Ireland, delivered a congratulatory video message praising the establishment of SEANI. He underscored the importance of celebrating ASEAN’s rich cultural and culinary diversity, as well as SEANI’s role in strengthening relations and people-to-people ties between Southeast Asian communities and Ireland.
The Royal Thai Embassy in London commends the Thai community in Ireland for actively participating in the network and showcasing Thai cuisine and culture in the launch event. These efforts help enhance Thailand’s image in Ireland, strengthen people-to-people ties, highlight the vital role of the Thai community in Ireland, and promote greater cooperation and solidarity among Thai community in Ireland as well as strengthen relations with Southeast Asian communities in Ireland.
