Royal Thai Embassy’s Mobile Consular Services in Ireland

On 14-15 September 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy, London provided consular services to Thai nationals residing in Ireland.

On this occasion, Mr. Nattaphong Sitthichai, Charge d’Affaires a.i. /Deputy Chief of Mission,

and officers from the Embassy visited Thai workers at the Monaghan Mushroom Ireland Group. Monaghan Mushroom Group is the world’s second largest ready-to-eat and processed mushrooms exporter. The company currently employs 188 Thai workers.

During the visit, officials from the Embassy met with the Executive Director of the Monaghan Mushroom Group to discuss the well-being of the Thai workers. The company also arranged an on-site visit to employees’ working area and accommodation. The Embassy also met with the Thai workers who informed the Embassy about their working and living conditions.
