On 6 June 2022, Ambassador Pisanu Suvanajata presided over the launching of a training workshop on Food Safety and Food Event Marketing at the Thai Trade Center in London. The project was organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in London in collaboration with the Thai Trade Centre and Thai Staff Training Institute. The workshop which is a follow-up session from the online workshop on new regulations and digital marketing in the post-COVID-19 previously held virtually last year has 30 registered participants, most of whom are micro/small Thai entrepreneurs. It aims to equip the participants with essential skills to operate food business in the UK legally and sustainably and will run on 6 and 13 June 2022.
In this workshop, participants will explore in greater detail the food standard and safety, food registration, and labelling. At the end of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to take part in the Highfield Qualifications assessment, and if successful, will be awarded the UK-standard Certificate that can be used for commercial activities in the UK nationwide.
On this occasion, Ambassador Pisanu reiterated the Royal Thai Embassy’s continued commitment to supporting Thai people in self-empowerment with a variety of workshops and training such as this one, which would also contribute to the maintaining of the high standard of Thai cuisine in the UK as part of the Thai Government’s Kitchen to the World Policy. Ambassador Pisanu took this opportunity to encourage all participants to focus on learning and training for self-development to turn their business hope into a true business success.
