On 20 March 2026, Ambassador Nadhavathna Krishnamra and Mrs. Priabthip Krishnamra, spouse of the Ambassador, together with officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in London, visited V&A East Storehouse, the Victoria and Albert Museum’s new facility opened in May 2025 in Stratford as a facility for the storage and display of art, design, and cultural collections of the museum. The delegation was welcomed and guided through the collection storage and key displays by Dr. Louis Copplestone, Curator for South-East Asia, Asia Department.

On this occasion, the museum presented items from its collection related to Thailand for the Embassy delegation to view and exchange information. The visit underscored the historical and cultural linkages between Thailand and the UK, as well as the museum’s role in preserving and promoting cultural heritage from different regions around the world.

This visit also reflected the close cooperation between the Royal Thai Embassy in London and the Victoria and Albert Museum and their mutual interest in further strengthening collaboration in the areas of arts and culture as well as knowledge exchange relating to Thailand in the future.
