On 28 April 2025, Ambassador Nadhavathna Krishnamra welcomed Mr. Pornchai Thiraveja, President of the Board of Directors of the Deposit Protection Agency (DPA) of Thailand, at the Royal Thai Embassy in London. During the meeting, they exchanged views on the UK’s deposit protection system, developments in financial innovation, and the broader relationship between Thailand and the UK.

Mr. Thiraveja led a delegation including members of Board of Directors and executives from the DPA on an official visit to London. The visit included meetings and site visits to key institutions such as the Bank of England, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), and Nexus FrontierTech, aimed at gaining insights into best practices and strengthening institutional cooperation.
