Please be informed of the following adjustments to the supporting documents required for Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) applications:

1. The e-Visa system will require all DTV applicants to submit proof of permanent residence in the UK, Ireland, or the British Overseas Territories (e.g., the UK indefinite leave to remain or Irish long-term residency), replacing the previously required document indicating their current location.
2. In addition, a certificate of criminal record clearance will be required as a mandatory supporting document for all DTV applicants. The police clearance certificate must be issued within 6 months from the date of submission (e.g., the ACRO certificate or the Irish police certificate).

These adjustments will take effect from 31 August 2026, at 00:00 hrs. (Thailand local time).
