On 22 October 2019 at 08.00 hrs. at the London Stock Exchange, Ambassador Pisanu Suvanajata attended the celebration ceremony for the 30th anniversary of the Aberdeen New Thai Investment Trust Listing. Ambassador Pisanu, along with Mr. Nicolas Smith, Chairman of the Aberdeen New Thai Investment Trust PLC, were given the honour to ring the bell at London Stock Exchange to mark the opening hour for today business, which celebrates the 30th anniversary year that the Aberdeen New Thai Investment Trust has been investing in Thai high -quality equities. From then onwards, this Trust remains the only investment trust of the UK investing exclusively in Thailand. At present, the total net asset value of the Trust is approximately 120 million pounds from which it has been yielding more than 1 million pounds in profits to investors over the time since inception. Given its outstanding performance, the Aberdeen New Thai Investment Trust has been awarded the 3-star from the UK’s Morningstar Rating.
 

In his remark on this special occasion, Ambassador Pisanu has shared his visions and views on the Thai Economic performance with executive members of the Trust, investors and businesspeople, as well as journalists of around 30 people in total. Ambassador Pisanu has also expressed his thankfulness for their trust in Thailand and his confidence that the Trust can achieve greater long-term success in the future.
