TS - INTERNATIONAL TRANSIT/TRANSFER PASSENGERS AT SUVARNABHUMI OR DON-MUEANG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Travellers transiting/transferring at Suvarnabhumi or Don-Mueang International Airport (lay-over time not exceeding 12 hours / check-through luggage only / cannot leave transit area / final destination is outside of Thailand) do not need to apply for a visa.
Eligible Applicants for TS visa
This category of visa is issued to persons who wish to enter the Kingdom of Thailand for the following purposes:
- To travel in immediate and continuous transit through the Kingdom en route to another country or to travel back to his/her own country over Thailand (category "TS").
- To participate in sports activities (sportsmen, sportswomen, etc.) (category "S").
- The person in charge or crew of a conveyance coming to a port, station or area in the Kingdom (category "C").
- Transit flight longer than 12 hours.
- Transit flight less than 12 hours but travellers need to self-transfer baggage.
TS visa conditions
- TS is valid for 3 Months for Single entry (6 Months for Multiple Entries) from the date of issue (30 days maximum per stay).

- Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
- Photograph taken within the last six months
- If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.
- Document indicating current location
- Applicant’s local utility bills (shows applicant’s name and address) e.g. electricity bill/ gas / mobile phone / rental agreement.
- Travel booking confirmation
- Flight details showing applicant’s name, departure date, all flights en route from UK/Ireland/UK territories to Thailand and onward ticket to another destination.
- Proof of accommodation in Thailand, e.g. Accommodation bookings, invitation letters from family/friends in Thailand
