Multiple Entries Tourist Visa (METV/TR-METV)

 

Eligible Applicants for TR-METV Visa


This category of visa is issued to eligible applicants who are currently residing in the United Kingdom / Ireland / UK Territories and wishing to enter Thailand for the sole purpose of tourism only. Proof of residency / Tickets from the origin of the United Kingdom / Ireland / UK Territories must be provided upon submission of the Visa.

 

TR-METV Visa Conditions


- TR-METV Visa is valid for multiple entries into Thailand for tourism purposes only.
- TR-METV Visa is valid for 6 months from the date of issuance with the condition that travellers must enter Thailand within the first 3 months of their visa.

-They will be allowed to stay in Thailand up to 60 days per entry, counting from the date of entry. The extension is possible for another 30 days. - If the TR Visa holder breaches the entry conditions (for example, if he/she engages in work-related activities), the stay permit will be revoked and he/she will be prohibited from entering Thailand in the future.

 

Required Documents. 

Tourist (TR/Multiple entries).           

1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document.

2. Declaration.               
           - Visa declaration must be downloaded and signed. Illegible youth declaration form can be signed by their parents/ guardians.

3. Photograph *taken within the last six months. If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.                             
          - If the photograph is inappropriate, and does not reflect your current appearance your visa may be rejected to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.

4. Residence permit in a country in which visa application is submitted (In case that applicant is not a national of the country in which visa application is submitted.)           

           - In case of the non-UK / non-Irish national applicants, Copy of the BRP card / Ireland residence card or letter from UKVI (UK visa) settlement status must be provided. UK national can provide UK Driving licence (for UK/Ireland national) or any UK ID to fulfil the requirement of the application.              

5. Financial evidence, e.g. bank statements, proof of earnings, sponsorship letter (current balance not less than 200,000 THB for the past 6 months).    
          - Your recent official UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, address, and a minimum closing balance of £5,000 (Do not send the screenshot) , proof of earnings (payslips) or sponsorship letter from your sponsor with official ID and their Bank Statements.

6. Proof of accommodation in Thailand, e.g. Accommodation bookings, invitation letters from family/friends in Thailand (of the first visit).
          -  Invitation letters from family/friends must be submitted with their respective official photo ID. 
          -  Accommodation booking must have details of applicant name/ date (check in and check out)/ address and contact no. of your accommodation.                                                  

7. Travel booking confirmation (of the first visit).           
          - Flight details showing applicant’s name, departure date, all flights en route from UK/Ireland/UK territories to Thailand and onward flight to another destination.

8. A confirmation letter from employer, School, Self-assessment, Pension statement.    
                                                   

9. All travel records for the past 12 months (1 year) since the last international trip.           
          - International travel record over the past 12 months from the application date.

10. Document that can verify applicant's current residency (Applicant must apply for e-Visa via specific Embassy/Consulate conforming with his/her consular jurisdiction and residency.)      
          - Applicants are requested to submit their local utility bills e.g. electricity bill/ gas / mobile phone / rental agreement.                                                      

11. Applicant's photograph holding the biodata page of his /her own passport.
