Diplomatic Visa (D)

- This type of visa is limited to only diplomatic passport or UN passport (UN Laissez-Passer) holder.

- Diplomatic Visa is for diplomatic passport /red UN Laissez-Passer holder visiting Thailand for an official duties or activities on behalf of their national government or international organization will be granted a Diplomatic Visa "F".

- Diplomatic Visa is for diplomatic passport /red UN Laissez-Passer holder visiting to be posted in Thailand will be granted a Diplomatic Visa "D".

The visa fee is gratis  

Official Visa

- This type of visa is limited to an official/ ordinary passport or UN passport (UN Laissez-Passer) holder. 

- Official Visa is for official passport / blue UN Laissez-Passer holder visiting Thailand for official duties or be posted in Thailand.

The Visa fee is GRATIS for an official or UN passport. 

(For an ordinary passport holder who is going to Thailand to perform official function, please refer to Non Immigrant - F Visa)

Diplomatic Visa (Posted in Thailand/ On diplomatic mission / Non Posting UN mission)

Required Documents

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
    - If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.
  3. Document indicating current location
    - Applicant’s local utility bills (shows applicant’s name and address) e.g. electricity bill/ gas / mobile phone / rental agreement.
  1. Note verbale from sending State and international organization or invitation letter

 

Official-visa (Posted in Thailand / On official mission / Non Posting UN mission)

Required Documents

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
    - If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.
  3. Document indicating current location
    - Applicant’s local utility bills (shows applicant’s name and address) e.g. electricity bill/ gas / mobile phone / rental agreement.
  1. Note verbale from sending State and international organization or invitation letter

 

Non-Immigrant Visa/ Non-F - for ordinary passport holders who work with the government, diplomatic mission or an international organization in Thailand. 

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
    - If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.
  3. Document indicating current location
    - Applicant’s local utility bills (shows applicant’s name and address) e.g. electricity bill/ gas / mobile phone / rental agreement.
  4. Financial evidence: amount of no less than 30,000 THB (£700), e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter
    - Applicant’s recent official UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, address (Screenshots are not accepted)

  5. Note verbale from sending State and international organization or Letter from Thai authority

 

Non-Immigrant Visa/ Non-F - Family or dependent of diplomatic officers /officials based in Thailand international organization in Thailand. 

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
    - If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.
  3. Document indicating current location
    - Applicant’s local utility bills (shows applicant’s name and address) e.g. electricity bill/ gas / mobile phone / rental agreement.
  4. Financial evidence: amount of no less than 30,000 THB (£700), e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter
    - Applicant’s recent official UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, address (Screenshots are not accepted)
  5. Note verbale from sending State and international organization or Letter from Thai authority
  6. Personal details of a family in Thailand, e.g. ID card, Passport and the visa page or stay permit in Thailand
  7. Proof of relationship to a family in Thailand, e.g. A copy of marriage certificate / birth certificate / certificate of adoption

 

NON-IMMIGRANT VISA TYPE O - Diplomat's housekeeper

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
