LONG-TERM RESIDENT (LTR) VISA

From 1 September 2022, applicants for the "Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa" will have to submit their application and documents online with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) at https://ltr.boi.go.th/. BOI will consider all required documents and make approvals. 

Once approved by BOI, applicants in UK, Ireland, and UK Territories shall apply for the LTR visa with the Royal Thai Embassy, London via online channel (www.thaievisa.go.th).

Required Documents

1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
   
   
2. Photograph taken within the last six months
   - If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.
   
   
3. Document indicating current location
   - Applicant’s local utility bills (shows your name and address) e.g. electricity bill/ gas / mobile phone / rental agreement.
   
   
4. Letter of qualification endorsement issued from Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) (valid for only 60 days since the date of issue)
