Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)

Purpose of Visit:

DTV1 - Workcation (Digital nomad/remote worker/foreign talent/freelancer)

DTV2 - Thai soft power related activities (e.g., Muaythai, Thai culinary training and medical treatment)

DTV3 - Spouse and children under 20 years old of DTV visa holders
 

Visa Fee: £300         Visa Validity: 5 years / Multiple Entries        Period of Stay: 180 days per entry

Extension of Stay (through the Thai Immigration Bureau):   One time for a period not exceeding 180 days per entry.  
After the maximum stay of 180 days + 180 days, the visa holders need to depart Thailand and re-enter the country with the same DTV visa within the visa's validity date.

DTV1 - Workcation (digital nomad/remote worker/foreign talent/freelancer)

Required Documents:
1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
2. Photograph taken within the last six months
3. Proof of permanent residence in the UK, Ireland, or the British Overseas Territories (e.g., the UK indefinite leave to remain or Irish long-term residency)
4. Financial evidence: amount of no less than £12,000 (500,000 THB) (e.g., bank statements)
5. Employment contract or employment certificate in their country or professional portfolio showcasing digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer status
6. Police clearance certificate issud within 6 months from the date of submission (e.g., the ACRO certificate or the Irish police certificate)

DTV2 - Thai soft power related activities e.g. muaythai, Thai culinary training and medical treatment

Required Documents:
1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
2. Photograph taken within the last six months
3. Proof of permanent residence in the UK, Ireland, or the British Overseas Territories (e.g., the UK indefinite leave to remain or Irish long-term residency)
4. Financial evidence: amount of no less than £12,000 (500,000 THB) (e.g., bank statements)
5. Proof of confirmation to attend the activity or letter of appointment from hospital/medical center
6. Police clearance certificate issud within 6 months from the date of submission (e.g., the ACRO certificate or the Irish police certificate)

DTV3 - Spouse and children under 20 years old of DTV visa holders

Required Documents:
1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
2. Photograph taken within the last six months
3. Proof of permanent residence in the UK, Ireland, or the British Overseas Territories (e.g., the UK indefinite leave to remain or Irish long-term residency)
4. Financial evidence: amount of no less than £12,000 (500,000 THB) (e.g., bank statements)
5. Police clearance certificate issud within 6 months from the date of submission (e.g., the ACRO certificate or the Irish police certificate)
6. DTV visa of the DTV holder
7. Proof of relationship to the DTV visa holder (e.g., a copy of marriage certificate, birth certificate, or certificate of adoption)

***Additional Documents***

For non-UK citizens, please provide additional documents:
  - A copy of BRP card or letter from UKVI (UK visa) settlement status.
  - A letter confirming employment details from an employer in the UK or Ireland (address to Royal Thai Embassy in London). Please note that the acceptance or job offer is not sufficient.
For students, a letter is proof of full-time student status.
For self-employed, business license or business registration indicating the applicant’s name.

For minors under 16 years old, please provide additional documents:
  - Full birth certificate showing the parents' names,
  - Parent's passport or ID,
  - Parent’s council tax bills or utility bills,
  - Parent’s recent official UK/Ireland bank statement, showing their name and address, and
  - Primary's DTV holder's police clearance certificate.

***If the applicant not submitting all listed documents or submitted a screenshot or unclear file, he/she will get a request for more documents which will delay the Visa processing time

***All supporting materials that are issued outside of Thailand and the UK must be accompanied by certified English translations and notarized by an Embassy or Ministry of Foreign Affairs only***
