Business Visa

Non Immigration Type B

Eligible Applicants for B Visas

- This category of visa is issued to eligible applicants currently residing in United Kingdom, Ireland, UK Territories  and wish to enter Thailand for:

a) Doing business.

b) Investing in Thailand (through the ownership of a condominium, depositing funds in a Thai bank, or the purchase of Thai government bonds, with a face value not less than 3 million THB).

c) Working in Thailand.

d) Teaching in Thailand.

 

B Visa Conditions

- The B Visa is valid for a single entry and multiple entries for business-related purposes only.
- The B Visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Travellers must enter Thailand within the said 90-day period. They will be allowed to stay in Thailand for a period of up to 90 days from the date of entry. During the 90-day stay, if they wish to leave and re-enter Thailand, they are required to apply for a re-entry permit (single or multiple) before departure. If they leave Thailand without a re-entry permit, the current stay permit shall be considered void.
- The extension of stay is at the discretion of the Immigration Officer. Extension applications can be made at the Office of Immigration Bureau (visit https://www.immigration.go.th/ for more information).
- If B Visa holders breach entry conditions, the stay permit will be revoked and they will be prohibited from entering Thailand in the future.

Non – Immigrant B / Employment

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document

  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
    - If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.

  3. Document indicating current location
    - Applicant’s local utility bills (shows your name and address) e.g. electricity bill/ gas / mobile phone / rental agreement.

  4. Financial evidence: amount of no less than 30,000 THB (£700), e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter
    - Applicant’s recent official UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, address (Screenshots are not accepted)

  5. WP32 (An approval letter from the Ministry of Labour) or work permit in case of Non-Immigrant B renewal (Japanese is waived from the requirement to submit WP32)

 

Non – Immigrant B / Business visit

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document

  5. Invitation letter from the company in Thailand
    - For training or seminar organized by International Organization please submit a
    Non - Immigrant ED / to attend workshop, training or seminar organized by International Organization. Please upload a letter confirming the internship/participation in a programme from the company/international organization.

 

 

Non – Immigrant B / Frequent business visit (3 years)

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document

  2. Photograph taken within the last six months
    - If the photograph does not reflect your current appearance you may be refused to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.

  3. Proof of the permanent residence in the country where the application is submitted
    - Applicant’s local utility bills (shows applicant’s name and address) e.g. electricity bill/ gas / mobile phone / rental agreement.

  4. Financial evidence: amount of no less than 3,000,000 THB (£70,000)
    - Applicant’s recent official UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, address (Screenshots are not accepted)

  5. Document proving business credentials:
    (1) proof of frequent business visit in Thailand,
    (2) proof of employment in their country, or
    (3) certification document from credible trade/business associations in the country of residence.
    Where applicable, the document should be signed by authorized person or notarized by relevant agencies

 

Non – Immigrant B / Internship (Non-Curricular internship)

Non – Immigrant B / Employed as an academic staff/teacher in Thailand

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document

  3. Document indicating current location
    - Applicant’s local utility bills (shows your name and address) e.g. electricity bill/ gas / mobile phone / rental agreement.

  4. Financial evidence: amount of no less than 30,000 THB (£700), e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter
    - Applicant’s recent official UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, address (Screenshots are not accepted)

  5. Letter from relevant authority such as Ministry of Education, University, International School

  6. Certificate of criminal record clearance from the country of residence
    - Certificate of criminal record clearance from the UK (e.g. ACRO, DBS issued by the national police unit) or Ireland (Police Certificates issued by Ireland’s national police unit) is only valid for 6 months after the issuing date and any certificate that is older than 6 months on the date of application will be considered invalid.

 

Non – Immigrant B / Sport-related activities (Trainers/Coach/Instructor/etc.)
