Thailand Showcase 2024: Unleashing Thai Creativity at Kings Cross, Canopy Market, London

The Royal Thai Embassy is pleased to announce the Thailand Showcase 2024, a three-day cultural event organized annually by the Royal Thai Embassy. For this year, the event will be held from 28^th to 30^th June 2024 at Kings Cross, Canopy Market, London (map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/DnHyY2HGg6aDUb4d8) under theme 'Unleashing Thai Creativity', showcasing the best of Thailand from food to tourism, and culture to innovation.

Following the success of previous years, with approximately 40,000 visitors in 2023, the Thailand Showcase 2024 is set to be an even more spectacular event with larger space, 30+ pop-up stores, and greater performances.

This year’s event will comprise four key Thai soft power elements:

Taste of Thailand: Visitors can explore a culinary paradise with specially selected vendors offering high-quality and authentic Thai food and beverages including the popular Farang London (the Michelin Bib Gourmand), Slurps noodle, The Great Thai Rice and Noodle, Siam Niyom, and Chicken and Egg. These restaurants will offer a variety of options from flavourful snacks to classic favourites, such as Som Tum (papaya salad), Kao Soi (northern Thailand curry noodle), Gai yang (grilled chicken) and much more. Chang Beer will open a pop-up Chang Espresso Café offering Chang Espresso Lager for the first-time outside Asia.

Thai Cultural Shows: Enjoy exclusive performances of Thai classical and modern dances to be flown in directly from Thailand including the renown Thai puppet show and Mor Lam (festive Isan folk dance), bringing the country's rich cultural heritage to life through vibrant and captivating shows.

Amazing Thailand: In collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, EVA Air, and other businesses in the hospitality industry, visitors can travel virtually to Thailand, and benefit from special air ticket promotions and other special holiday packages at the event.

Innovative Thailand: Showcasing Thailand’s creative minds and advancements in the field of innovation and sustainable products, for example, Kera protein, food for the future where one can turn chicken feathers into chicken nuggets, and many creative design products by talented Thai designers. Visitors will see the progress Thailand has made towards a low-carbon economy.

The event will peak with opportunities to win raffle prizes including luxurious getaways, round-trip air tickets to Thailand, exclusive merchandise, hospitality tickets to selected Premier League football teams and much more -- making the Thailand Showcase 2024 an unforgettable celebration of Thai culture, creativity and innovation.
