Experience Thailand Like Never Before – A Celebration of Culture, Cuisine, Craft, and Creativity

LONDON – This summer, join us in celebrating 170 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the United Kingdom at “Thailand Showcase 2025: Timeless Creativity”, a vibrant three-day festival celebrating the depth, diversity, and dynamism of Thai culture. Held from 27 to 29 June 2025 at the iconic Lewis Cubitt Square, Coal Drops Yard, King’s Cross, this year’s showcase also marks a historic milestone in the longstanding 170 years of friendship between Thailand and the UK.

Following last year’s tremendous success – which drew over 60,000 visitors – the Royal Thai Embassy in London once again brings the sights, sounds, and flavours of Thailand to the heart of the UK capital. With a new, larger venue, Thailand Showcase 2025 promises an even more expansive and immersive experience, blending tradition with innovation.

A Festival of “Timeless Creativity”

In celebration of the 170th anniversary of Thailand–UK diplomatic relations, this year’s theme – “Timeless Creativity” – highlights Thailand’s remarkable ability to preserve its cultural heritage while embracing innovation. From cuisine and cinema to craftsmanship and performance, every facet of the festival embodies Thailand’s enduring and evolving creative spirit.

Festival Highlights

(1) A Culinary Journey
Savour the richness of Thai culinary culture, from street food to elevated dining. Enjoy dishes from Michelin-recommended Farang London, East London’s buzzing Thai bar Dang’s by Slurp, refined Thai cuisine from Patara, and contemporary Thai dishes from Greyhound Café and many more – all proud recipients of the Thai Select award. Live cooking demonstrations, Thai craft beverages including the famous Chang Beer and Singha Beer, and refreshing Thai iced tea will add to the feast for the senses.

(2) Thai Cinema Under the Summer sky
Delve into Thailand’s vibrant film scene with outdoor screenings of acclaimed titles including Happy Monday(s), Flat Girl, and Monk. Engage in exclusive Q&A sessions with renowned Thai actors and directors, such as Pae Arak Amornsupasiri, Foei Patara Eksangkul, Oab Oabnithi Wiwattanawarang, PP Punpreedee, and more.
