On 4 May 2024, the sub-committee on Sports Industry promotion organised the “Amazing Muay Thai Master Class in UK 2024” event at the Hilton Reading Hotel. The event was led by Mr. Pimol Srivikorn, advisor to the Prime Minister, the chairman of the sub-committee, joined by H.E. Mr. Thani Thongphakdi, the Ambassador of Thailand to the UK.

The purpose of this event was to promote the art of Muay Thai to foreigners and enhance Thailand’s soft power. The event featured Muay Thai training sessions conducted by famous Muay Thai trainers, including “Superbon” Suppachai Meunsang, “Phetjee ja” Ninlada Meekun, and “Nong O” Hama Muay Thai. Over 330 attendees from the UK and across Europe, representing more than 21 countries, participated in the event.
