On 11 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK, welcomed General Wasu Chiemsuk, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Defence of Thailand, upon his visit to the UK to attend the Uncrewed Air Systems (UAS) and Counter-UAS Showcase. Defence Military Attachés from all three Royal Thai Armed Forces based in London and the Embassy’s staff also joined in welcoming the delegation.

 

On this occasion, the Ambassador exchanged views with the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Defence on ways to further strengthen bilateral military and defence cooperation between Thailand and the UK, particularly on defence industry development as the UK is a key player in Europe’s defence supply chain and a longstanding defence partner of Thailand.
