On 18 May 2026, His Excellency Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK and Mrs. Priabthip Krishnamra, spouse of the Ambassador, as well as Mr. Jirakarn Bejrajati, Minister (Commercial), and officials from the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in London, participated in a Thai mango promotional event at Costco Watford branch.

    On this occasion, the Ambassador welcomed the Thai mango promotion and tasting and discussed with Mr. Paul Scott, Head of Costco’s fresh foods purchasing unit, prospects for promoting Thai fruits in the UK market and future opportunities for expanding imports of additional Thai products for sale in the UK.

    The event was a debut collaboration between the Thai Office of Commercial Affairs in London and Costco UK to promote Thai fruits among UK consumers. Thai mangoes are available to purchase at all 29 Costco branches across the UK from April to 16 June 2026. Mango tasting events were held on 16 and 18 May 2026 at 10 Costco branches, including Thurrock, Watford, Croydon, Manchester, Chingford, Reading, Birmingham, Leicester, Hayes, and Wembley.
