On 20 July 2026, His Excellency Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK, delivered opening remarks at the roundtable seminar on “Business and Investment Opportunities in Thailand: Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing Sectors” at the Royal Thai Embassy in London. The event was jointly organised by the Embassy and the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) Office in Paris to encourage leading UK companies in the aerospace and advanced manufacturing sectors to explore opportunities for business operations and investment in Thailand.

     In his welcoming remarks, the Ambassador underscored the importance of strengthening the Thai-UK economic partnership, particularly through expanding cooperation in future industries driven by Science, Technology and Innovation (STI), leveraging Thailand as a regional hub for advanced manufacturing. Ms. Nuntanart Krisnachinda, Director of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), Paris Office, provided updates on Thailand's economic potential and capabilities on aerospace component manufacturing industries and advanced manufacturing, new investment opportunities and BOI incentives.

     Representatives from Zenix Aerospace shared the company's experience with operating and investing in Thailand for over 20 years in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) in Chonburi Province. Thailand's modern infrastructure, efficient import-export logistics, high safety standards, skilled workforce experienced in advanced manufacturing, and investment promotion measures, have enabled the successful expansion of Zenix operations in Thailand as leading manufacturer of aircraft engine components and aerostructures. Meanwhile, Altios International underlined business and investment opportunities in Thailand in advanced manufacturing and aerospace and the company’s consulting services to support Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in expanding business operations and investments in Thailand.
