On 24 January 2026, Ambassador Nadhavathna Krishnamra and Mrs. Priabthip Krishnamra, spouse of the Ambassador, together with Mrs. Ornwijit Chantrangsi, Counsellor, attended the opening ceremony of Thai Night 2026, organised by the Oxford Thai Society at New Road Baptist Church in Oxford. This year’s event was held under the theme “Thai Temple Fair,” recreating the lively atmosphere of a traditional Thai temple fair.

          On this occasion, the Ambassador delivered opening remarks, commending the Oxford Thai Society for its important role in promoting and raising awareness of Thai culture. During the event, the Royal Thai Embassy supported the “Chudthai AI” programme, allowing participants to create AI-generated images of themselves wearing various styles of Thai National Costumes.
The activity was very well received by attendees.

          The event also featured a variety of cultural performances and activities, including traditional Thai dance, Muay Thai demonstrations, and fashion show, featuring Thai traditional costumes and contemporary Thai fabric designs. The event was attended
by more than 200 participants.
