On 23 July 2025, Ambassador Nadhavathna Krishnamra welcomed Mr. Marcus Mimms, Managing Director, and Mr. David Marshall, Director of Operations, of Global ATS Ltd. (Global Aviation Training Services Ltd.). Mr. Mimms and Mr. Marshall provided an overview of the operations of Global ATS Ltd. in providing air traffic control training, including its collaboration with relevant agencies in Thailand, such as Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Ltd. (AEROTHAI) and the Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC).
The two sides also discussed opportunities for future cooperation on supporting Thailand’s vision to become regional aviation hub. This includes providing training for Thai personnel using simulator technology, as well as exploring the possibility of supporting the establishment of a training center in Thailand in the future.
