On 3 December 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy in London, in cooperation with the Buddha Padipa Temple and the Thai Community in the UK, jointly held a merit-making ceremony to pay tribute to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej in commemoration of His Birthday Anniversary (5 December).  Bound by their love and respect for the late His Majesty, H.E. Mr. Pisanu Suvanajata, Ambassador of Thailand to the United Kingdom, led members of the Thai community in this auspicious ceremony.  The monks performed Jayamangalagatha chanting (Stanza of Victory and Blessing) and dedicated merits to the late His Majesty.  The ceremony was concluded with the offerings of food and other necessities to the monks and the temple.
