On 24 October 2019, Ambassador Pisanu and Mrs. Thipayasuda Suvanajata witnessed the Handover Ceremony of the Tipitaka of the World Tipitaka Foundation led by  Thanpuying Varaporn Pramoj, the Foundation’s President.

The three sets of Tipiṭaka, namely (1) The World Tipiṭaka in Roman Script 2005, revised 2019  40 Volumes (https://www.sajjhaya.org/node/155); (2) The World Tipiṭaka : Sajjhāya Phonetic Edition (The King Edition - Pāḷi Manuscript) 2017  40 Volumes (https://www.sajjhaya.org/node/51): and (3) The World Tipiṭaka : Sajjhāya Phonetic Edition (The Queen Edition - Pāḷi Notation) 2017  40 Volumes (https://www.sajjhaya.org/node/52) were reprinted by the World Tipiṭaka Foundation specifically for the British Library’s Buddhism Exhibition, which is open now until February 2020) following the request of Mr. Roly Keating, the British Library’s Chief Executive, through the coordination of the Royal Thai Embassy, London to obtain these precious Buddhist texts as a treasure of the British society and to promote education on Buddhism for the British Society in the future.
