On 21 October 2019 at 19.00 hrs., Mr. Pisanu Suvanajata, Ambassador of Thailand, attended “High Flyers with THAI” at the Gherkin, hosted by Thai Airways International to thank customers and business partners for their support and votes for THAI to be the World’s Best Airlines for Lounge Spa and Best Airline Staff, as well as to promote a new direct flight between Bangkok and Sendai in Japan which will start operation on 29 October 2019. Also present were Ms. Nonthakorn Trakulpa, General Manager of Thailand Airways International in London and prominent guests from related businesses.
The guests were served dinner, with menu specially crafted for this event by 3 famous chefs -- Prin Polsuk, Mark Dobbie, and Seb Holmes. Thai fresh ingredients were carefully selected to prepare starters, main dishes and dessert, which reflected the Thai way of life and food from different regions of Thailand. This event was also aimed at promoting Thai food and tourism.
