On 9 August 2026, Miss Kritsana Chonweerawong, Minister of the Royal Thai Embassy in London, representing Ambassador of Thailand to the UK, and Miss Choltipa Vinyunavan, Counsellor, attended the merit making and Buddhist chanting ceremony on the auspicious occasion of the 66th Birthday Anniversary of the Most Venerable Phra Ratchawithetpanyakhun, Abbot of Buddhapadipa Temple, London and President of the Council of Thai Dhammaduta Monks in the UK and Ireland.

On this occasion, Minister Kritsana and Counsellor Chontipa also joined the Thai community in the UK in the ceremony to pay respect for the Most Venerable Phra Ratchawithetpanyakhun’s dedication to the preservation and promotion of Buddhism in the UK and Ireland.
