On 17 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK welcomed Mr. James Rittiwong, organiser of The ICON London Will Never Forget ft. Tata Young, and the organising team, at the Royal Thai Embassy in London. Also present were Ms. Kritsana Chonweerawong, Minister, Mr. Charubhumi Ruangsuwan, Minister Counsellor, and Mrs. Ornwijit Chantrangsri, Counsellor.

          During the meeting, the organisers briefed the Ambassador on the upcoming concert, performing by Tata Young, one of Thailand’s best-known singers. The event will also feature a Talent Competition at Halfway of Heaven, to provide a platform for emerging talent at any age and gender identity and to foster community engagement. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Stonewall Housing, a charity supporting LGBTQIA+ people experiencing homelessness. This initiative is in line with the Royal Thai Government’s commitment to promoting protection of human rights for all including diversity and equality for the LGBTQIA+ persons, as well as underscores Thailand’s readiness to bid for hosting WorldPride 2030 in Bangkok.
