On 18 April 2025, we commemorate the 170th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and the United Kingdom. On this special occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy in London is pleased to share a Message of Congratulations from Her Excellency Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, to commemorate the long-standing friendship between Thailand and the United Kingdom which began with the signing of the “Treaty of Friendship and Commerce between Siam and Great Britain,” commonly known as the Bowring Treaty, on 18 April 1855.
