On 24 June 2025, Ambassdor Nadhavathna Krishnamra paid a courtesy call on Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons. The discussion covered ways to strengthen bilateral relations, including in the areas of politics, security, trade and investment opportunities, tourism promotion, and people-to-people ties. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments. On this occasion, the Ambassador extended an invitation to Sir Lindsay Hoyle and his team to attend 'Thailand Showcase', to be held from 27 to 29 June 2025 at Lewis Cubitt Square, King’s Cross, London. The event is part of the commemoration of the 170th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the United Kingdom the importance of which was also raised in the conversation.
