On 21 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK, and the Embassy’s officials welcomed the 57th cohort of the Diplomatic Studies Programme of the University of Oxford, led by Dr. Yolanda K. Spies, Director of the Programme. Two officials from Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs are also participating in the programme.

On this occasion, the Ambassador provided an overview of the Embassy’s work and exchanged views with participants on Thai-UK relations and cooperation, the Embassy’s priorities under the Thai-UK Strategic Partnership roadmap, Thailand’s foreign policy and diplomacy 2.0 as well as Thailand’s cultural diplomacy and the promotion of Thai soft power. After the briefing, participants were invited to view “The Art of Thai Miniatures” exhibition, which formed part of the recently concluded London Craft Week 2026.
