On 3 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK, met with Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), led by Professor Emeritus Dr. Sirirurg Songsivilai, Chairman of Thailand’s Science, Research and Innovation Promotion Committee, during their visit to the UK for discussions with the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS) and other UK partners to explore potential areas of cooperation in astronomy, space science, science, research and innovation.

On this occasion, the Ambassador reaffirmed the Royal Thai Embassy‘s commitment to supporting science diplomacy and fostering collaboration between Thai agencies and relevant UK STI institutions to drive Thailand’s ecosystem on science, research, and innovation.
