Ambassador of Thailand to the UK Congratulates Thai Chocolate Producers and Companies at the Academy of Chocolate Awards Ceremony

On 20 March 2026, Ambassador Nadhavathna Krishnamra and Mrs. Priabthip Krishnamra, spouse of the Ambassador, attended the Academy of Chocolate Awards Ceremony 2025, an international chocolate awards ceremony initiated by Academy of Chocolate, at Fortnum & Mason in London.

On this occasion, the Ambassador congratulated the achievements of chocolate producers from around the world, particularly those from Thailand. In 2025, Thailand had the highest number of entrepreneurs and companies submitting entries to the competition and was also the country that received the highest number of awards with a total of 20 Thai artisans and chocolatiers receiving medals, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The Thai chocolate makers who received Gold medals are as follows:

  • Bean-to-Bar Plain Dark Chocolate Bar (4 awardees): Chocoholic, KAORI KAKAO, Rila Kakao, and San Marzano x Noir Chocolate Bar.
  • Bean-to-Bar Flavoured Dark Chocolate Bar (1 awardee): Choc A Dii Chocolate.
  • Plain Chocolate Drinks (3 awardees): Rila Kakao, Infinite Cacao, and KAORI KAKAO. Thailand is the only country to have been awarded a gold medal in the Plain Chocolate Drinks category.

The Royal Thai Embassy in London would like to extend its warmest congratulations to all Thai artisans and entrepreneurs who received awards on this occasion and welcomes the continued progress of Thailand’s chocolate industry which is part of the success of the Thai food industry. This achievement marks another important step in elevating Thai cocoa and chocolate products onto the global stage.
