On 21 May 2026, His Excellency Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the UK, and Mrs. Priabthip Krishnamra, spouse of the Ambassador, together with official of the Royal Thai Embassy in London, attended the Amazing Thailand Roadshow to UK 2026 organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), London Office, at the Adelphi Suite, The Waldorf Hilton London.

On this occasion, the Ambassador welcomed and thanked tourism business operators and travel industry partners from Thailand and the UK for their continued support of the Thai tourism industry. The Ambassador highlighted that, in 2025, Thailand welcomed more than one million visitors from the UK, marking a significant milestone that reflects a close and long-standing people-to-people ties between the two countries. Despite geopolitical uncertainties and challenges affecting the global tourism industry and long-haul travel, the British tourists continue to have a strong interest in travelling to Thailand.
The Ambassador took this opportunity to highlight Thailand’s tourism promotion policies and campaigns, particularly the “Healing is the New Luxury” campaign, which responds to the growing trend of travellers seeking restorative travel experiences, holistic well-being, and authentic cultural engagement. He reaffirmed that Thailand remains ready to welcome visitors from around the world with its world-class services, diverse travel destination and the renowned Thai warm hospitality.

The TAT London Office organised the Amazing Thailand Roadshow to UK 2026 from 19–21 May 2026 in Glasgow, Manchester, and London, respectively. The event featured 19 tourism business representatives from Thailand who presented tourism packages and hospitality services to more than 240 UK travel agencies joining the roadshow across the three cities.
