On 17 October 2018, a friendly luncheon was hosted by Ambassador Pisanu and Mrs Thipayasuda Suvanajata for the Anglo-Thai Society (ATS) at the Thai Residence.

The ATS was established in 1962 with an aim to fostering closer people-to-people relationship and better understanding between the peoples of Thailand and the UK.  Through the wide variety of social, cultural, educational and charitable activities as well as linkages with other Thai-UK entities, the Anglo-Thai Society has been a close and strong partner of the Royal Thai Embassy in promoting our common objectives in strengthening the Thai-UK relations.
