On 14 October 2018, HE Mr Pisanu Suvanajata, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK presided over a ceremony in remembrance of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The ceremony was organised by members the “King of Hearts” Group in the UK and was attended by over 500 members of the Thai community, Friends of Thailand as well as the general public at Amravati Buddhist Monastery in the UK.

          Similar activities were organised by the Thai communities and at Buddhist temples throughout the UK over the weekend as 13th October 2018 marks the second anniversary of the passing of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej who reigned for seven decades, becoming the world’s longest reigning monarch. During His 70-year reign, thousands of development projects were initiated under the grace of his royal vision.
