On 4 October 2018, Mr Pisanu Suvanajata, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK, presided over the handover ceremony of Defense Attaché of Thailand to the UK. The ceremony took place at the Office of Educational Affairs and was attended by Heads of Team Thailand Offices and distinguished members of the Defence Corps in London.

The handover ceremony is a prestigious tradition of the Defence Corps in London. For the Thai Defence Attaché, it is a proclamation of duty to move forward cordial cooperation with the UK on defence, security and development issues to promote friendship and mutual benefits of both sides.

The current Defence&Naval Attaché of Thailand is Captain Yotspong Dechacoop who will cover the UK, Denmark , Norway and Sweden.
