The Royal Thai Embassy provided a mobile consular service for the Thai community at Wat Santiwongsaram in Birmingham during 8-9 September 2018.  Around 200 Thais turned up to receive various consular services, many of who came from Birmingham and nearby towns, while some came afar from different parts of Great Britain. The Embassy staff also took this opportunity to see how members of the Thai community lived and provided advice to make sure that they lived well. 

The Embassy wishes to thank the Thai community for the warm welcome and thank Wat Santiwongsaram, both the monks and trustees, for their generous support to make this mission run smoothly. This reflects the strong bond between the Embassy, the temple and the Thai community.
