During 29-31 August 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy organised a meeting with other Thai government offices under the “Team Thailand of the UK” to coordinate, share information, and brainstorm our work plan to mobilise our resources in order to implement and realise the policy of the Royal Thai Government, particularly the 20-year national strategies, Thailand 4.0 policy, and the Eastern Economic Corridor, with the ultimate goal to improve living standard and economic status of the Thai people.  

On this occasion, we visited a British car assembly plant in the Midlands to explore possible cooperation.  We also visited a SME of a couple, a British man married to a Thai lady, who produce great quality roast coffee with coffee beans from Thailand.  Their business has helped promote quality ingredients from Thailand, and promote the fair trade and fair prices for coffee growers, while capturing the UK markets for coffee lovers.
