H.E. Mr. Pisanu Suvanajata, Ambassador of Thailand to the United Kingdom, led a team of Embassy staff to provide mobile consular service for the Thai community at Wat Sri Ratanaram in Bolton, Greater Manchester, during 3-4 February 2018.  Over 200 Thais turned up to receive various consular services.

This was the first mobile consular service in 2018, and the Ambassador himself took this opportunity to visit members of the Thai community who came for the service to make sure that they lived well.  Many of them came from Manchester and nearby towns, while some came afar from different parts of Great Britain.

The Embassy wishes to thank the Thai community for the warm welcome and thank Wat Sri Ratanaram, both the monks and trustees, for their generous support to make this mission run smoothly. This reflects the strong bond between the Embassy, the temple and the Thai community.
