On 2 March 2020 at 18.00 hrs. Ambassador Pisanu Suvanajata attended the Drink Reception hosted by the Hon. Nigel Adams, Minister of State for Asia, on the occasion of the Minister’s new appointment at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The reception was also joined by Ambassadors and High Commissioners of ASEAN countries in the UK and their respective UK counterparts in ASEAN countries. Minister Adams took this opportunity to introduce himself and reiterate the importance the UK attach to Asia and ASEAN regions, especially for the post-Brexit period where the UK is fully embarking on the Global Britain policy. Ambassador Pisanu also expressed Thailand’s readiness for cooperation and support in realising the UK’s Global Britain and to help bridge the UK with ASEAN region for the mutual benefits of the two countries and their peoples.
