On 13 February 2020 at 12.30 hrs., H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, had a bilateral meeting with the Rt. Hon. Dominic Raab MP, Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to start his first working visit to the UK after the UK officialy left the European Union.
On this occasion, both sides reaffirmed their determinations to continue the already excellent and cordial bilateral relations, as well as to strengthen cooperation in all dimensions under the strategic partnership between the two kingdoms. Particularly as this year 2020 marks another milestone in Thailand - UK ties reaching the 165th anniversary of their diplomatic relations, both sides pleadged to forge an even closer cooperation in bilateral trade and education for the mutual prosperity.
The two sides also exchanged views on the global issues, such as climate change, situation in Myanmar, and development in ASEAN after Thailand’s chairmanship.
