On 11 September 2019, Ambassador Pisanu Suvanajata paid a courtesy call on Mrs Heather Wheeler MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and the Minister for Asia and the Pacific. On this occasion, they exchanged views on the progress being made by both sides in strengthening the already-excellent bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed further opportunities to make this cordial ties stronger, particularly in an important juncture of Post-Brexit. 
 

Both sides expressed readiness to work hand-in-hand to bring closer every respective sectors through various activities in order to promoting mutual ‘visibility and awareness’ of the two countries and peoples.

As the year 2020 will mark the 165th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the United Kingdom, both sides will work together to form an effective  groundwork for constructive collaboration with a view to opening a new chapter of friendship amidst changing global ecosystem for their sustainable relations.
