A Series of Video Clips To Demonstrate Thailand's Mission And Commitment As An Active Maritime Nation

In running for the reelection of the International Maritime Organization (IMO)  Council for the term 2022-2023, the Royal Thai Embassy, London wishes to present a series of video clip to sum up the mission, commitment, and dedication of Thailand as an active maritime nation, and the contribution to the noble task of the IMO in ensuring  “safe, secure and clean ocean” for the common benefits of international maritime community and in the interest of human kind.

First in the series highlights Thailand’s pro-active engagement in maritime affairs to ensure the well-being and safety of “Seafarers as Key Workers” in the global maritime network, especially amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Second in the series focuses on Thailand’s mission in collaborating with the global maritime community in combating marine debris issues at all levels to ensure cleaner and more secured oceans for the betterment of the future generation.

The third clip of the series demonstrates Thailand’s full commitment to make substantial contributions to the work of the IMO to further strengthen partnership among members of all regions on international maritime policies and to achieve the targets of UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The last clip reaffirms Thailand’s determination to combat Climate Change and reach the GHG emission reduction target by 2030 by implementing green innovation, green port automation and alternative and renewable energy to promote Thailand’s multimodal port systems which also supports the IMO’s environmental protection policy and strategy.
