“I Volunteer for Thailand” : A Beautiful Spirit of Volunteerism that unites the Thai Community in the UK

The Royal Thai Embassy, London proudly presents a documentary “I Volunteer for Thailand”, featuring a beautiful story about the volunteering spirit or “Jit-a-sa” of the Thai community in the UK, working in solidarity in support of the people in need in Thailand. The Royal Thai Embassy, London, organised the Charity Run “I Volunteer for Thailand”, in collaboration with Safe Child Thailand, Team-Thailand London and Thai businesses in the UK, as part of the Richmond RunFest, held at Kews Gardens, London on 11 September. This charitable activity was able to raise GBP 15,000 funds in support of Safechild Thailand’s projects for Children with Disabilities and COVID-19 Relief in Thailand. This wonderful story is an excellent example how His Majesty the King’s royal guidance of “Jit-a-sa” (volunteering spirit), has united the Thai community in UK to work beyond borders, on the basis of genuine goodwill and selflessness, for the betterment of the people in Thailand.
